Victorias Secret Pink and the Colorado Rockies

Ok, I'll admit it. I might have a slight obsession with the Victoria's Secret line of Colorado Rockies clothing items. Slash with all of their items for Major League Baseball. Because they're adorable and amazing, all at the same time. I have some of their stuff from last year and from the NFL line, and it's seriously soft. The fit is seriously perfect. And I seriously LURVE this Colorado Rockies t-shirt. The deep V-neck (yes, you do have to wear a tank with it), the perfect printing on the front and the lovely PLAY BALL! on the back - it makes me want to head out to a game right now! And now I'm super pumped for the start of the 2012 Rockies season.

Spring Training and the Home Opener on the Colorado Rockies Schedule

The Colorado Rockies schedule for Spring Training is almost through. Which means that the Home Opener is almost here! And if you don't have your hands on some pretty spectacular home opener seats (or just some seats to get in the door), you'd better get on your game. From what I've seen while scouring sites online, the inventory for the game that kicks of the season on April 9th are moving FAST. Don't get caught outside the gates of Coors Field. Order your seats before you can't find any!

Colorado Rockies for St. Patty's Day

Oh yes my friends, I am all set for this Saturday's big day: the Saint Patrick's Day festivities, that is! I found this ADORABLE Colorado Rockies shirt made ESPECIALLY for this holiday. Obviously I had to have it. Just grab expedited shipping, and you can have one too! I love the little smiley on the front with the Rockies logo and the clover (although why they didn't make it a 4 leaf clover beats me). And obvi, I AM the Rockies good luck charm, so the back is very fitting, too! Love it!

Rockies Roster: Pitcher Alex White in T-R-O-U-B-L-E

Did you hear the news? Specifically, the news the Colorado Rockies roster man Alex White is in some major trouble with the Scottsdale police? Obviously down in the area for Spring Training, the Rockies pitcher was arrested on Saturday night for driving with a blood alcohol level of more than twice the legal limit in Arizona - .174. This is considered to be an EXTREME DUI, and carries a minimum 30 day jail sentence, but White could also face probation, loss of his driver's license and a $2500 fine. All in all that seems pretty lenient for such a potentially serious offense. This guy could have KILLED someone, athlete or not. Sounds like not only is Alex White in trouble, but that Scottsdale could use some serious tightening of the old punishment for extreme DUIs. Just a thought.
